This piece was really cathartic to make. It allowed me to fully express what I was going through at the time. I was feeling further away from my older self than I ever had before. At first, it was scary letting go of an old version of myself (that I deemed better than the current). But then I started to realize this is all part of the process, sometimes you have to fall apart to fully let it go.
