This piece was created in a time where I was continually painting abstract sunrises and sunsets as a way to create the beauty I was finding hard to see in society. I painted to feel lighter, to feel closer to feelings of joy and happiness when my mind was under a dark cloud. This painting helped me feel lighter, happier and find joy in the process of doing what I love most which is creating without a plan and solely for the pleasure of the process.
